I am a producer, director, former studio development executive, mentor and collaborator. I enjoy the crossroads between discovering new storytellers, cultivating media arts and developing fresh ideas that entertain and inspire audiences. Today, cinema as an art form is transforming before our 2020 eyes and I'm thrilled about its future and finding like-minded collaborators who seek to be authors of our time.
DeAnna Cooper Biography
I am a studio executive, producer and educator, too. I received my MBA from the University of Connecticut, worked for New Line Cinemas, Fox Studios and now Disney. It's been an amazing journey working with so many inspired filmmakers and crew....artists and technicians who love what they do and have taught me so much about who I am and why entertainment is so important to the world around us.

Why Amarok? What's it mean?
Amarok means "Wolf" in Inuit, a Native American language. Kevin grew up in a large family and recalls a summer trip to visit a wolf refuge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan run by an Inuit man who spoke about the values of wolves and a wolf pack. The man explained that wolves are fiercely loyal, affectionate animals and dependent on one another for survival. Sure, there are lone wolves, but wolves function optimally as a pack like filmmakers. They care for one another. Our pack is Amarok. We value passion, loyalty and a love of being stronger when we do things together.
